Why we started
From the first date with my wife to every month we’ve been together, I’ve heard the story of her Uncle Tom’s unbelievably tasty Belgian waffles. Tom used to run a successful waffle restaurant called "Waffle Up" in Denver, Colorado. After hearing about his special waffles with pearl sugar melting as they bake for the 1000th time, we decided to pick up the phone and call Uncle Tom to see if he’d help us recreate the magic. He granted it!
After spending a fortune importing equipment from Europe and working with our chef baker Joseph to master the recipe, we’re on a mission to end the lack of original Liège waffles in Colorado. It’s time to serve Denver what it deserves – a true European specialty!
